This is from the top of Masada. You can see the Roman quarter (that little square).
It was really high up. I think it was 350 meters plus vertically.

Masada speaks volumes to the strength and perseverance which defines two of the world's great cultures.
ReplyDeleteYes, it is a symbol of conflict in this instance, but we shouldn’t forget the many great advances that both cultures brought in their shaping of the world as it is today.
